This was a first visit and we were not disappointed.lunch was ordered and arrived quickly.we ordered Hungarian ghoulash and chicken and we're not disappointed, large portions and lots of fresh vegetables. The waitress was pleasant and with such a wonderful view, what more could one ask for. We hope to visit again sometime.

Snack lunch. The best soup ever in beautiful surroundings.
Worth a visit just to see the glorious wooden chairs.
Will go back again and again.
Clean. The toilets sparkled and the very pleasant staff sparkled too.

The Balintore Inn has taken on a new lease of life since its current owners arrived in summer 2015. Looking east across a quiet road to the north sea, with tables in the garden where you can enjoy the sea breezes while eating, it offers a tasty choice of home cooked food, with large helpings at modest prices. The two course lunch cost around £13 a head, and included starters such as fried brie, chicken wings, pate and tasty meatballs, after which the options included an excellent Fisherman's pie, a spicy curry, and a highland Chicken/ haggis/black pudding combo with a whisky sauce. There was also a children's menu.
