Wonderfull cottage set on a working farm in the beautiful Eden valley. Very clean, safe garden for our dogs. Wonderful facilities with a dog day care facilitiy onsite( BOOKABLE ) . Wonderful greeting from owner on our arrival and an unexpected little gift of stay left in cottage as a memento . THANK YOU. Rooms excellently furnished and maintained. Cottage within walking distance of Armathwaite village with its walks along the banks of the River Eden and overlooking at points views of the beautiful Eden Valley. Great base for driving to Carlise or the Northern Lakes. We rate this cottage 10/10 for any dog owners. A fenced off paddock area for your pets excerise safetyis a real bonus. THE SURROUDING COUNTRYSIDE IS BEAUTIFUL AND WELL WORTH VISITING as our the 2 local inns in Armathwaite. Thank you to owner for allow us our COTTAGE. will be rebooking again without doubt next year( IF AVAILABLE) a better cottage setting I have yet to find. A totally peaceful and relaxing venue for a quiet break.

“Lovely quiet setting”
Reviewed 4 September 2020 for a stay in September 2020

Had a lovely week here, beautiful area with chickens, geese and peacocks roaming around, cows next door. Great little cottage with enclosed garden and lots of land for walking the dog, Nick was very friendly and helpful, easy drive into both Scotland and the Lake District, well worth it
