Great welcome. We were remembered from our visit a month ago which was great that includes the drinks which we were well impressed with! We had the beef which was really delicious, extra gravy in a jug without asking, just a great welcoming place following Covid guidelines but still being able to be a normal pub. Love it x

Arrived to be met outside by the owner who found us a place to park. Room was up high but really nice and quiet. All staff were brilliant. Food was "homely" but VERY nice. Live entertainment was brilliant - locals people really friendly. We loved this palce! I'm missing it and looking for a reason to go back.

This is a great location with off street parking and the staff are friendly. Plenty of hot water and a powerful shower. The rooms are a bit tired but mine was clean.

I felt that the bar was not particularly friendly and was filled with local men sitting in a circle around the edges making jokes in poor taste. I think a more sensitive person may have felt pretty intimidated. The food was ok - standard pub grub.

My main complaint was the noise. I could hear snoring next door and someone had their TV on all night. Then I was woken at 4am by the guy upstairs peeing! It sounded like it was coming through the floor! The walls and floors must be paper thin with no soundproofing.

Breakfast was good.

Rang on Friday lunchtime spoke to a helpful gent & we booked a 4 bed family room. Arrived Saturday evening was greated a bubbly help young lady who booked us in. The room was spacious & clean, bathroom also good sized with both a bath & shower. We visited the bar, which was pleasant and spacious with large screen TV. The lady behind the bar was chatty.
We had breakfast, we took the cooked option. The food was plentiful & piping hot.
Overall a pleasant stay with a good breakfast, all in all good value for money
