“Amazing - Beyond our expectations!”
Reviewed 14 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Every year a small group of us visit Wales for a holiday to escape London. In the 5 years that we have done this, Warren farm was by far the best place we have stayed.

Jane and Hannah were fantastic hosts from start to finish, greeting us with Jack the dog and with trollies to wheel our stuff from the car to the tents. The path was lit with solar lanterns all the way and is easily accessible for anyone.

The facilities were lovely, the shower/ bathroom/ kitchen units are simply but efficiently put together. The tents are roomy, clean and most importantly comfy! There were 8 of us in each tent and we didn't feel squashed for room at all.

Little additions like a candle chandelier, marshmallows, filter coffee, small mirrors, blankets and beautiful picnic baskets made it even more enjoyable.

We spent the evening cooking over the camp fire, and made breakfast in the morning on the hob.

Every little detail is thought of and is the perfect definition of Glamping. All the joy of the outdoors with none of the stress!

Jane and Hannah gave us some great advice on places to go in the area, they are a wealth of knowledge, and their balance of leaving us to get on with our stay and being around when we needed help was perfect.

You must visit Cafe Mor at freshwater west beach for food, and st Govan's chapel is the start of a beautiful walk along the coast towards beaches and caves.

I read a bad review prior to this was a little concerned before our arrival, but there was no need to be, so I would advise you ignore it! I honestly cannot recommend this place enough, there is so much to do in the area and it was the perfect base.

Thank you Hannah and Jane

“Idyllic stay”
Reviewed 23 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Myself and four friends had a wonderful stay at Warren Farm.  The tent was beautifully done out, with a candle chandelier and absurdly comfortable mattresses. All equipment we needed to cook and serve chilli and risotto was provided, as well as complementary marshmallows and charcoal for the firepit! There were beautiful walks and beaches about a 10 minute drive away. We did a long walk to barafundle bay, which is rated as one of the best beaches in the UK. The hosts were extremely helpful and thoughtful throughout our entire trip. We would definitely stay again! :)

“Style over substance. And bad value”

Being up front, the weather was poor during our stay this Easter. But we were prepared for that. What caught us out was the lack of quality in comparison with the rates being charged. What you get is what you see in the nice looking web pics, unless you are unlucky and in a larger group, and get a tent outside of the copse area (in an exposed field across a small road). We were in Sage.
Our main issues were as follows:
-Check in was late, at 5pm, and even then they weren't ready for us. We'd booked months in advance as a large group and had a lot of young kids, which they knew. We were kept waiting whilst tents were finished. Later I was handed a box of fairy lights to erect myself
- The tent pegs didnt seem to be effective.Metal pegs for a 6m tent came out and the tent sagged during a windy night. We had to mallet and find stones to anchor the pegs ourselves
- the sunken trampoline has no cover for the springs. A cover was produced on day 2, but no ties, so it was left there flapping around
- nettles and briars were left uncut
- sawdust was not replenished in the compost loo
- covered camp kitchen only barely extends beyond the cooker and in wind/rain will get wet and cause the gas to be less effective
- shower was tepid at best and runs out under the door into the camp area
- the host was not very present and not visible at departure
This is camping masquerading as glamping. There are other places (which we later discovered) offering a lot more bang for your buck. Some of our party left early after their tent collapsed.

“Lovely 'under canvas' accommodation - lovely location”
Reviewed 12 September 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Booked for a short family holiday in August 2015. We arrived in sunshine at the lovely location and were given a warm and friendly welcome by Hannah (the co-owner). We stayed in 'Elderflower' and it completely lived up to the photos on Tripadvisor. The kids were very excited about the huge bell tent, big comfy beds with quilts, tea-light chandelier, and our private garden area complete with firepit. My daughter was thrilled to discover the trampoline. I loved the private outdoor kitchen (complete with running water and gas hob) and everyone appreciated the hot shower in a cublicle behind the kitchen. The composting toilet was a novelty (!!!) but even my fussy, soft-living kids coped with it. Hannah was on hand to deal with any problems and queries and - when a family member with mobility problems joined us - helped to arrange an easier access route to our tent. The location was really peaceful and close (short drive) to beautiful beaches (Barafundle, Freshwater), the lovely Stackpole estate gardens, and to Pembroke. Unfortunately for us - halfway through the stay the rain set in (torrential downpours & gusty winds) and did not leave. The tent remained dry but our spirits were severely dampened.

“Absolutely perfect”
Reviewed 24 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

I cannot recommend Warren Farm enough. We have been back from holiday for a couple of weeks now and I am still raving about it.
The tents were top standard, everything you would need was provided (except a chopping board, but our meals were quite complex, you can do without). Shower was better than the one in my flat, and the compost loo was adequate (shared between our tent of 7 people).
We were blessed with gorgeous weather during the day and meteor showers at night, so we made full use of the outdoor area. Cooking is simple with a four ring gas hob AND the possibility of BBQing in the fire pit.
The hosts were amazing, lending us maps and guides as needed, and had a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding area.
You do need a car to stay here, really, but everything you need is less than 10 mins drive.

Peaceful, tranquil and beautiful. Want to return as soon as possible!!
