Stayed with a biggish (30+) group of writers who were there for a week-long winter school. What a great place!
Warm welcome, great food, lovely fires and cosy nooks in the public areas. Rooms are immaculate and comfy - Donal, the hotelier, absolutely excels.

What a great hotel stay. Wonderful attention to detail, friendliest staff, immaculately clean and AMAZING food. I have to say that staying in Irish hotels had become a dismal, disappointing affair - where staff are grumpy or rude and where you're paying hand over fist for poor quality services and dining. It was so refreshing in Hotel Doolin to find staff who smile, seem to love their jobs and are friendly and helpful. Loved the flags outside - Irish, Rainbow & Ukrainian. It's the little things!!

Was in Doolin and booked table in Restaurant- place was busy and we were seated. Menus eventually were handed out and we waited quite a while to order. There was no organization in the Restaurant, some people were standing around talking and the staff didn’t seem to know what was happening. Manager badly needed to supervise - we waited at least 40 minutes for food which was ok when served but the waiting time was awful.

In Fitz bar and resturant the staff Paul Kieran Colm and Brian went out of their way to ensure we thoroughly enjoyed our nights out. The food was excellent. The staff friendly and informative. They made sure we were served quickly and explained the menu (Desert) very well

Myself and my partner stayed at hotel Doolin for 2 nights and found that the experience with customer service was fantastic. Each and every member of staff was friendly, approachable, polite and 100% went above and beyond to make our stay as good as it was.
Bed room was clean, tidy, comfortable and well equipped. Free wifi was available in the hotel and reached our room which was fantastic, given Doolins remote location and reduced signal for Internet use this was a lucky extra.
There was a minor issue with a loose shower head and small leak but staff quickly had this repaired without an issue.
Food was beautiful and well presented. Drinks where readily available from one of the multiple bar counters on site and the Expresso Martinis are a must try !
For the price charged for the stay I cannot recommend this place enough and suggest that anyone considering visiting Doolin strongly considers a night or 2 with Hotel Doolin.

On a day out from Galway, we stopped for lunch at this pub/hotel. It had a lovely atmosphere and gave good service. The lunch there was the best part of a very misty day.
We both had the beef stew in guiness with mash together with half a pint of the local larger. £36 total bill.
