The food was food. A great 8 oz beef burger. Proper beef and proper fries at good value. Great location at the end of Killary fjord.

Stayed here for 2 nights on the June bank holiday. The package included a 5 course dinner each night and we both cleared each plate for each course both nights. The food was amazing and there was a great choice. Had lunch there too and that was fab also.

The reason marked down 1 point was for 1 particular employee, who unfortunately we ran into a few times and was not very pleasant at all. At lunch we asked him for a glass of water at the bar, he was standing in front of the tap, he took the glass as walked out of the bar and never returned with the water ! Also I asked him to clear a table for breakfast one morning and I got a grunt back. The rest of the staff were lovely though and very attentive.

The room was lovely and very spacious with a fabulous view of the fjord

Infortunateiy we didn't get to try the seaweed baths attached to the hotel as they were booked out so definitely book these in advance if you wish to try them

We stayed at this hotel earlier last week, we waited approx 10 min for someone to check us in and when the girl arrived, she was very unfriendly!! Just passed us the keys, we thanked her , but she didnt even replay.
We went to our room which was lovely and the view was amayzing . Quickly forgot about the rude and very unpleasant girl we meet. , went for a dinner which tasty and the staff was good.
The biggest problem we had was to check out from this hotel. No one at the reception in the morning so went for breakfast and that was delicious!!!! And believe or not still no one at the reception . There were about 6 people waiting at the reception to check out,. Finally she came and the smell of her was terrible, like an ashtray, ( came from her smoke break) She never even apologized, didnt ask if we enjoyed our stay or anything. Just very grumpy unfriendly girl. Which is really pity, because this hotel could do so much better, if they hire a proper receptionist!!!!!!
For her we wont be returning and so our friends.

Stayed 3 nights over the June bank holiday weekend. We were a group of Ramblers getting 3 days of solid hikes in. The rate I got was € 180 for a single room on the second floor. This included breakfast an evening meal. For value, I haven't got a better deal ever. The room was on the second floor overlooking Killary fjord. The food was good, staff pleasant and you were also 10 mins away from Gaynors Pub which was made famous by the film "The Field". All in all , Highly Recommended and we'll be back....

My husband and i have just spent 3 nights in the Leenane Hotel and we had a really wonderful time. We had a large room which was newly furnished with a fantastic view over killary harbour. The food was excellent, we had many choices for dinner and compliments to the head chef. Breakfast was also good too with plenty to choose from. The service was top class on all accounts. The staff were very friendly and efficient, Arleen on reception apart from being a jack of all trades will meet any request you may have with a smile and nothing seems to be a problem for her. There is also a lovely big sitting room where you can relax in the evenings beside the open fire. There is plenty to do in the area and westport is also just a short drive away. We will definitely be back again and thanks to all for a very enjoyable stay
