I wasn't too sure if this was a craft-shop or cafe when I passed by & to be honest it looked a bit 'hairy-legged hippy' to me but there weren't many other places open for coffee so we went in & passed a geat hour in there. The couple running it are really nice, lovely atmosphere & had thee most delicious pecan danish..ended up ordering another one! Hadn't held out much hope for the coffee as they're BIG into tea & offer about 200 varieties but coffee was great too. I would highly recommend this place & wish the people running it every success. So nice to come across a place where the staff seem to care so much.

I had soup and a panini here last week. The tomato and basil soup was delicious and I really like the fillings in the panini. Prices were very reasonable too. very relaxed atmosphere.

Just opposite the bridge on the main street in Ennistymon you'll find this welcoming cafe. They use freshly ground good quality coffee served in a french press/cafetiere. I had a great variation on the ploughman's sandwich made with fresh and quality ingredients, including really soft delicious spelt bread from Unglerts bakery nearby (a must if you are in the area). It operates as an arts centre too and is geared to cater for children too, with boards games and books available.. Everybody (staff customers) were friendly and relaxed and it's exactly the kind of place you'd like to spend a leisurely afternoon with the papers.

If you're in Ennistymon this is the best place to get some lunch!Very good coffee, cakes and bread from the local very good German bakery. There is one hot dish served each day, mostly curry or very nice soups.
