We arrived and within 30 seconds we were greeted, given a tour of the house and shown to our room. We were lucky to stay in the Well Room which is a two-room suite right on the expansive lawn, leading down to the ocean. It was drizzling and we spent the afternoon reading in the living room. Total relaxation. Room is appointed with high-end amenities. The second day we returned from shopping and I asked Caroline for decaf coffee. She brought it to our room in minutes (French press, delicious) along with cream, milk and artificial sweetener which I think she remembered we had used at breakfast. Speaking of which, the breakfast was served quickly and it was delicious. I couldn't get the computer to connect to print out our boarding passes. Again, Caroline made the problem go away by taking my paperwork and taking care of it in minutes. We're looking forward to our dinner here tonight.
Loved every minute of our stay and would return in a heartbeat.

We had a lovely room at Moy House with a great view. The furnishings are old-fashioned and that's what we like, but everything works as it should. The staff couldn't have been nicer. You may have to search a little to find them, as there's no central registration desk, but once found they did everything to make our visit memorable.

The food is great at Moy House. We had wonderful meals and enjoyed a spectacular view of the sunset over the bay. The town of Lahinch does not have a great deal to offer the traveller, but you are minutes away from the Cliffs of Moher, one of the must-visit places in Ireland. We warmly recommend the guided tour of the Burren that Moy House arranged for us. Only one other couple took the tour at the same time we did, and our guide Shane was incredibly knowledgeable about the region--its history, geography, and biology. Don't wear high-heeled shoes for this trip--it is all uphill to start and you need to be sure-footed and in fair shape.

Not really recommended for families (although we did see a couple of kids at the hotel), Moy House is best suited to couples wanting good food and a romantic setting.

I've been around the world and stayed at quite a few nice places, BUT MOY HOUSE IS THE BEST. Truly unbelievable. I brought my girlfriend here to surprise her and pop the question on the beach one night, and it could not have been a more romantic setting. You can imagine I had high hopes, and it lived up to them.

The staff was in on the secret and were helpful and extremely friendly. They had champagne waiting for us when we walked back up to the house. Then, we had dinner there--every course was superb. They also surprised us by laying down flower petals in the shape of a heart on our bed, and left us chocolates and a gift as well. Also, the breakfasts both days were not to be missed.

The drawing room is a great place to chill out and have a few drinks. Elegant decorations. Oh yea, our room was GORGEOUS, and the shower head in the bathroom was like a waterfall...best shower ever.

Also, you truly are a short drive to Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher. Lahinch is a small, nice town to get dinner at a pub, too.

I hope I make enough money to come back here when I get older. It wasn't cheap, but it was worth it. A real gem. Top notch on every account.

Just back from a superb weekend in the beautiful Moy House. The location just outside Lahinch is perfect for those wanting to avail of the facilities in Lahinch but looking for a bit of peace and pampering.

The house is really beautiful but nothing in comparison to the views. Waking up and looking out at unobstructed views of the Atlantic is a pleasure and a privilege (we were very lucky to be upgraded to a sea view room).

The food was delicious. From the carrot cake on arrival to their tasty and adventurous dinner and of course an ample breakfast that would put many 5 star hotels to shame.

Everything about this house is excellent. Go for the views, the beautiful rooms, the food and outstanding service. Our only minor complaint was the price of the beer but you get that in bucket loads throughout the town.

beautifully refurbished rooms in an older manse; minutes away from the golf course; absolutely the best meals to be had anywhere in the vicinity; this was by far our favorite B&B from our recent golf trip.
