I'm not even sure where to begin!

The western coast of Ireland is gorgeous and Moy House is not to be missed. Moy House sits atop an expansive lawn that goes down to the bay. The views of the water from our room and the restaurant were breathtaking - especially at sunset.

Our room was large and beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable.

Before dinner, we took a walk down to the water and walked along the beach, stopping to pet the horses on our way back.

The tasting menu is not to be missed. It was an elegant, delicious 5 course meal. Our opening course was a cauliflower soup that was amazing. Breakfast the next morning was just as wonderful.

The staff were as friendly and helpful as can be.

If we had known how much we would love Moy House, we would have extended our stay in Lahinch and cut our stay shorter in Dublin.

Our ocean view room was inviting and comfortable. Loved the"drawing room" and the fireplaces throughout. This is a small boutique style "home" so no amenities other than a wonderful dining room. Food prepared in kitchen was fresh and delicious. This is a great place to stay at the end of your tour---very relaxing and peaceful.

Upon our arrival we were warmly greeted and after been shown our amazing rooms we were served freshly prepared tea, coffee and cake in the front room where we got to take in the amazing views over Lahinch beach.
We had 2 deluxe double seaview rooms and 1 courtyard double room, all rooms were amazing, the beds were sooooo comfy and the showers very powerful.
My American friends were impressed with The honesty bar in the lounge, which we availed of before going out to dinner. Although with the lovely open fire burning and the comfy seats we wished we had booked dinner in Moy House as we really didn't want to leave once we had checked in.
Breakfast was a culinary treat. I had smoked salmon and poached eggs, others in my group had pancakes, blueberries and bacon, and the full Irish. Having tasted the breakfast it made us wish we were staying another night so we could have eaten dinner at Moy House.
I can't recommend this country house highly enough. The staff go above and beyond. It's a piece of heaven in an amazing setting. I can't wait to go back.

We recently stayed at Moy House with four other couples. We checked in after a long day of touring. We had a 6:30 departure time for golf the next morning at Lahinch so we asked if we might just order pizza for dinner and eat in the bar/library area. They could not have been more accommodating. They helped us with the order, brought us plates, napkins, etc. and even cleaned up the room for us. It was as though we were family. The next morning the same manager prepared a wonderful sit down breakfast for us at the crack of dawn. The service was a 10 but so were the accommodations. This place is charming both inside and out with the gorgeous beach view. We cannot wait to return and stay longer!

Room Tip: Rooms on the lower floor are beautiful suites with incredible views of the water and the beach.

My husband and I did a 9-day trip to Ireland earlier in the summer, and our stay at the Moy House was an absolute stand-out. My parents had stayed there about 5 years ago and they recommended Moy House to us- honestly I'm not sure that I would have known about it if they hadn't told me. It is beyond stunning, tucked away on the west coast of Ireland right on the water. We drove for hours, thinking we were lost at a few points, and then this ridiculously charming house just rises up before you on a cliff. We loved walking around the grounds- met the lovely gardner and her adorable puppy- and enjoyed cocktails each evening in the drawing room/library. Felt like we had been transported into an episode of Masterpiece Theatre. The location is also great if you want to do a day trip to the Aran Islands (which we did- to Inishmore) from the Doolin Ferry. Staying at the Moy House was an absolute delight and we would love to be able to go back some day!
