I would say "don't miss," but I would hate to see this gem become too popular. The people are so friendly and accommodating, the food is fantastic, and the hotel is simply perfect, in every way.
The best description I have for this delightful place: it's as if you are staying in a friend's country home (assuming that home is very well-appointed and perfectly run).
The little touches, the staff, the views, the beautiful rooms and baths all add up to an incredibly memorable experience!

We stayed in many excellent properties on our recent trip to the west of Ireland but Moy House has to be our favourite. An incredible view across to the Cliffs of Moher from our bedroom while warmed by a peat fire in the grate and drinks from the honesty bar at our side was perfection. Knowing that both Christine and Brid would look after our needs and a great chef would provide an excellent dinner meant we could sit back and relax. Even the need to change our itinerary was left confidently in their hands. Justifiably awared many accolades, this review is just to confirm that the highest standards in October 2011 remain in place

Room Tip: Request a view to overlook the sea

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying in Moy house. It is the ideal location for a romantic getaway. We found it to be excellent in every way. The staff were friendly, helpful and very professional, our room was of a very high standard, with complimentary robes, slippers and L'Occtaine products in the bathroom. We also enjoyed a beautiful meal while overlooking the bay, the food was delicious with a good range of choice, as was breakfast. We will definately be returning, by far the best place we have ever stayed. A much better alternative to a large hotel.

If this is not a 5 star, nothing is. Gracious service, superb food, generous and charming space, a very warm and relaxing stay. It was the first of four places we stayed in a tour of southwest golfing country, and we wished we could have stayed there indefinitely. I hope to return some day.

my golf foursome stayed at moy house while playing lahinch. what a class act! brid o'meara and her staff went out of their way to expedite the delivery of our clubs which we had shipped ahead and got stuck at customs. despite arriving very early in the morning, they gave us a room to freshen up and leave our luggage. the chef came in early to prepare a fantasic breakfast. we went off to play and returned to our lovely rooms, free wifi, great baths, and a wonderful dinner. chef came in early again to accomodate us the next morning. we were able to leave our luggage at moy while we played lahinch again. multiple times, brid and the staff went over the top to be gracious and helpful. worth every cent! michael [the concierge]
