We dined here a while ago. The food & service were EXCELLENT. It's a lovely place to go, relax & forget about the rat race for a few hours! Lovely grounds to walk around aswell, to help the food digest & sort out the problems of the world!

Did a weekend away here just before Christmas. What a gorgeous place. You are effectively in the heart of the Garden of Ireland, with Glendalough and coastal towns like Bray and Greystones just a short drive away as well as Dublin City so whether you're looking for hiking, leisurely walks, gardens, or city-life, you are in the perfect location for it all. Russborough House and Gardens is also nearby and well worth an afternoon stroll.

Of course, you could easily spend a couple of days at Tulfarris and not even leave the hotel. The restaurant has stunning views of the golf course and there are some lovely walks around the lake. The whole place just oozes calm and relaxation. We both felt very safe with all staff members wearing masks and hand sanitizer throughout the building. The tables in both the restaurant and bar were very spaced out too.

All the staff we met from reception to bar and restaurant staff were incredibly friendly and full of Christmas cheer. We felt they wanted to be there and actually liked their job, which always adds to the experience.

Our bedroom was warm and cosy and tastefully decorated with a balcony (convenient for smokers and I imagine on summer's evenings).

Can't really fault the place to be honest.

We will definitely be back hopefully to play some golf.

Room tip: Ask for a room with a balcony and facing the golf course

Staff were very helpful, food was amazing but the hotel lacks good communal areas, the bedrooms lacked warmth with wooden floors in our’s and our friends’ and a dull colour scheme. It therefore did not feel special and I wouldn’t return.
