On arrival at this lovely looking house, we were warmly greeted by the hosts and offered tea and warm pudding - which we would normally accept with glee but we were going to a local chinese restaurant, so thought we'd better leave room!
The room was lovely, really homely and cosy with a modern, clean bathroom.
A really good night's sleep on a comfy bed then tasty breakfast of home made pancakes, rashers and maple syrup, delicious!
Will always go here now, when in Bandon!

Beautiful house and a lovely welcome with tea and apple pie! We had a large room with a super view over fields. Comfy bed and great en suite. Super hosts. We were overawed by kindness when Dolores drove ahead of us to show the way to a local restaurant. Dolores also drew us a map to get to the P + R in Cork City. Mark and Dolores were great hosts. We had great breakfasts in a lovely setting . Hope to return.

We had a great one night stay in Laurel House last month . My daughter and I had two very comfortable and spacious rooms with really comfy beds. The breakfast was really nice with great homemade bread and a freshly cooked fry.

Laurel House
Had a lovely 1 night stay recently with Dolores & Mark in their lovely home and B+B Laurel House.. Such a comfortable bed - 1 of the most comfortable ever, great night's sleep. Laurel House is located on the Dunmanway Road couple of miles outside Bandon Town. Mark provided great directions by email, which were spot on even on a rainy night in unfamiliar area!
Nice big room too, with great shower & cable TV. The fresh milk & ground coffee with plunger pot was a really nice touch on the tea tray (especially for a coffee addict like myself!).
The breakfast next morning was outstanding in a beautifully appointed dining room, another big pot of strong coffee with freshly cooked breakfast, using several local ingredients! Namely, the bacon, sausages & yogurts were really good. Nice selection of fresh fruit, cereals, yogurts & homemade brown bread.. Only negative was I could only stay the 1 night, but I will definitely return...
Very charming and welcoming hosts - could not have been more helpful with information and sorting out TV at 11pm (due to my lack of technical ability - I should add!)... Great priced - fantastic value for a 5***** experience... (-: (-:

Mark and Delores are terrific hosts. They have a beautiful home with extremely comfortable rooms. Lots of fun to visit with. Full Irish breakfast was one of the best we had on our trip.
Mark is quite the musician (guitar) and he has a rich and melodious voice.
Would highly recommend this impeccable location.
