From the moment you arrive to the time you leave (reluctantly), the whole experience is quite simply, magical. Delores is a wonderfully attentive host who makes you feel welcome from the outset. She provided coffee, tea and wonderful Bakewell tarts on our arrival, which was completely unexpected, but most welcome. Nothing is too much for her, she gave us advice on where to go for days out and the best places to eat, she even booked a restaurant table for us, now that's service!!

Our room was spotless, beautifully decorated with antique furniture, the bathroom was lovely with a fine selection of lotions and potions which my partner adored, the breakfast's were a delight and the views, to die for, so Delores, i can't speak highly enough of you, your husband, or indeed the accommodation.

I found Laurel House here on Tripadvisor. It is not easy to find accomodation in Bandon on the internet for some reason. Anyway, I got what I was promised by the other reviewers here. A lovely late night greeting and hot snack with tea, a spotless and very comfortable bedroom with modern ensuite, a lift to the pub (!), and a faultless breakfast the following morning. Dolores and Mark are excellent hosts and deserve continued success. I will certainly stay again when I am in the area.

Thanks to our hosts for a wonderful overnight stay while attending a wedding nearby. Our room was lovely and just as seen on the website. Dual aspect windows had wonderful countryside views. Our room was spotlessly clean and was well appointed with antique furniture. The bed was extremely comfortable. A lovely tray contained everything for making tea or cafetiere coffee. Breakfast was scrumptious, cooked to order, served with freshly made brown bread and local produce in a bright, airy dining room. Our short stay was a delight.
