Cons: We booked this as we had taken a drive from Dublin to see the Cliffs of Moher. Having arrived at dusk we saw the reviews and pulled in. The first room they put us in was invested with live and dead bugs. The reception/front desk woman had said she had just been up to turn the heat on which could not have happened, the buzzing was loud and the dead bugs were covering the windowsill onto the floor. We returned to the front desk and let them know we would not be staying when she offered us a new room. Not being familiar with the area and being after dark we accepted. The new room was an improvement but not by much, the bedding/pillows smelled sour as if someone had been sick on the pillows or the linens had been left in a washer for days. We called down and she brought up fresh pillows and linens that were fresh and smelled clean.

Pros

The room was pleasant looking.
Plenty of parking
Easy walking distance to restaurants and attractions.
Breakfast at the restaurant was very good.

Four of us stayed here for a night en route to Inis Oirr. We found the owner and staff very friendly, the accommodation clean and comfortable and the dinner way beyond expectation. We were sorry to be leaving after one night. Would highly recommend you stay here while visiting Bunratty.

I stayed in the Bunratty Manor Hotel on the 12th August 22. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. I was a bit sick the next morning after a 'few to many' in Dirty Nellys and the owner (sorry I can't remember his name) offer to go and get me something from the nearest chemist. Where else would you get such a friendly service? I'll definitely stay here again

Had a lovely stay at Bunratty Manor, our room was large and very clean, only a short walk to Bunratty castle. Had a drink in the bar in the evening and it was very cosy. Breakfast was very nice and all staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel
