We stayed for one night B&B and dinner. This is a friendly family run hotel and restaurant. The bedroom was a generous size with very nice colours and furnishings. We liked the art on the walls. There was a cosy sitting area with a lovely fire.
We ate dinner in the restaurant which was top class. We were a group of 8 friends and everyone was impressed.
Youghal has a really interesting history and there is a very good walking tour you can do. The staff at the hotel have us a good leaflet with all the walking tour information.

We spent one night at this establishment on the Main Street , unfortunately Street was dug up and impassable, making access tricky. Rooms were ok but tired looking and not too clean. Our dining experience on the other hand was superb, food and service excellent and good atmosphere. Friendly service let down by dowdy rooms and bathrooms.

Booked a family room for myself and two kids, the room was on the ground floor and could accommodate up to 5 people, very spacious and clean. Decor a bit dated but added a bit of character. The staff were very helpful and nice. Food was excellent even the kids loved it and staff were so friendly (girl with blonde curly hair) was so chatty and great with the kids. I'd been here a few years ago and was disappointed but this time it was great, definately be back.

We stayed in Ahernes the day after our wedding as we wanted to stsy somewhere special in our hometown. Our room was fabulous and breakfast was to die for - everything was such great quality as always! Gaye looked after us very well on our brief stay. Our only regret is that we were running so behind for a family gathering that we didn't get to relax and enjoy a drink or two in the lovely bar - we will have to return soon to do so!

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend and really enjoyed it, very laid back and relaxed atmosphere, all the staff were very pleasant and helpful without getting in your face. The food was excellent and the breakfast should not be missed, spent a lot of time wondering around sightseeing and then back to our very spacious and comfortable room for a freshen up before heading out.
