Myself and my husband eat here over the August weekend.
The service was a joke the girl didnt have a clue about serving or didnt seem interested.
The place needed a good clean.
We had to ask for cutlery salt pepper none on the table. We asked for olive oil and she looked at us blank.
The pizzas were fine.
We were told later when we told some locals were we ate that the restaurant was moving a couple of doors up so maybe they lost interest in the place they were leaving.
Yes maybe we should have said something but she didnt seem interested in her job or the customers.

Dear Sir or Madame it seems that for some reason you really want to damage our business leaving very nasty and unnecessary reviews, as a matter of fact not only our previous premises were kept in clean and in good conditions also had salt and pepper in every table like every other respectable restaurant also you left a poor comment about our waitress that has been with us for over 2 years now and she is not definitely non attentive during her service. Now being nasty and rude might give you a bit of pleasure but it is not healthy or fare for others so please do not take that attitude to your grave.

We were at Luigi's Restaurant because of the good feedback on TripAdvisor. But it was the opposite. I have eaten macrels with fries. Something so loveless as at Luigi's, I've never seen before. The waitress was unfriendly, too. This was our worst restaurant on our trip to Ireland. I wouldn't give someone the advice to go to Luigi's. Horrible !!!!

hello I don't know but this review smells like a rat to me since over the summer I must have served over a 1000 mackerels without a single complaint and everyone was delighted what is really strange that of all the places you allegedly visited during your stay in ireland you only bothered to leave a bad review in our page.
Maybe you should find better things to do other than trying to damage business reputation.

We went to Luigis for Lunch as we were advised it was a nice place to eat. The food was sadly average and not what was expected. In relation to price i would have expected better. I hope to rerturn their and try again in the next couple of months.

Stopped off at Luigi's everyday for coffee after our walk on the beach. Luigi always had a nice treat in his hand for our dog and nice cool bowl of water. Always gratefully received x

Stopped off in Youghal on a sunny bank holiday Monday and was in need of a quick lunch after walking the beach. This is a small and cozy cafe with an Italian menu but it also does salads and sandwiches. Service was polite and friendly and the food was tasty. They are moving to a bigger building beside them on the Main Street to cater for demand, great to see a local business doing so well.
