Stayed here with my 8 year old for two nights to break up our trip to the Cliffs of Mohar and we had a lovely time. Amazingly comfortable bed in a decent sized room. We had breakfast both mornings which was thoroughly enjoyed. Dinner options were limited but the food was of excellent quality, fresh and great value. Any staff members that we encountered were very friendly and accommodating. Will be back for sure!!

We went to the Killaloe Hotel and Spa to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and had a beautiful stay. The room was well decorated and the bed was amazingly comfortable. We stayed in one of the rooms with a terrace, and the view from the room was lovely.
All of the staff we came into contact with throughout our stay were so friendly, helpful and accommodating.
We asked at reception for help with a HDMI input on our TV in the room so we could use our Firestick to watch Netflix in the evenings, and the porter assisted us by taking the tv off the bracket and plugging in an extender which was so helpful!! The Wi-Fi connectivity in the room was absolutely perfect and we were able to stream with no issue. This was a huge thing for us as so many hotels have really bad WiFi.
We ate in the hotel bar on one of the nights and the food was gorgeous, the staff there were lovely also.
I also had a couple of spa treatments with Kate which were so relaxing. She was so very friendly and is a fountain of knowledge for all things skincare.
The only negative I have to say is that there was a bit of water damage in our bathroom possibly from the shower which was a bit unsightly but it didn't affect the quality of our stay
Spent two nights here and during our stay we had no water in our room. Mentioned this 3 times during our stay but they just said nothing could be done. Had to brush our teeth using bottled water and I had to shower in the SPA. Breakfast on the first day was terrible - we asked four times for our toast before getting it at the very end and five of us were crammed into a small table. Definitely not worth the money if you can’t even have the basics like water.
Last minute 2 night getaway with the family. The food was Excellent, freshly cooked and good quality. Breakfast was also of high quality. Family Friendly hotel that were very accommodating. Rooms lovely, small bit of wear and tear around the edges but were very clean. We would definitely stay again. Staff very nice also.
Really disappointed with both the cleanliness of our bathroom and the service for breakfast. There is a lot mistakes made with what would have been a lovely breakfast if the orders where right. Black silicone in the bathroom and shower area, broken tiles. Really poor for the price of €189. Was expecting so much more.
This was the first time we stayed at this hotel. The staff at the hotel were excellent and very friendly at all levels. From reception our welcome was there and we had dinner at the hotel that evening. The menu was limited but lovely. Regrettably the room we were given had a boiler or something close that kept going on and off during the night. We mentioned it to one of the waitresses at breakfast and she said that she would see if the room could be changed. Sure enough later in the day we were changed to a far quieter room. Breakfast menu was limited and several items included eggs which my wife doesn't eat, so she was disappointed with the selection. We also had to ask for juice, cereal and
toast as they were not on the menu but available. Unfortunately which was our own fault we did not get to the spa as it was totally booked out and we should have booked when we booked the hotel. We stayed three night and was most relaxing, but the lack of food options left us a little bit disappointed with out stay, but the quality of nice staff more that made up for the shortcomings on our visit to Killaloe. There are some lovely walks near the hotel that are well worth taking in.
