Had lunch with a friend here and it was delicious. I had the Bellini which had goats cheese, a local hard cheese, various delicious fresh salads and some bread. Very delicious and a generous portion. Perfect for lunch when you want a bit of everything and can't decide. My friend had the chilli pepper pizza. Spicy and a really thin base. Yum. Definitely a great spot for lunch.

Visited in July close to afternoon closing time with the kids and found a nice rustic restaurant with a great wine selection. Its quite small inside and is probably not the best place for small kids. They had pizza which was ok and my wife had a nice soup. I went for a selection of smoked salmon and cheese which was nice. It would be an ideal place for couples who love wine and have a chauffeur to take them home.

This place is a bit of the beaten track, but well worth seeking out. Small, homely setting, good food, nicely presented and good service. As far as I know, they only do lunch.

Discovered this restaurant by accident. A lovely warm welcome & lovely food. The chocolate cake was to die for. Would highly recommend
A visit.

We were out and about and wanting to find somewhere for lunch, and came across this little place entirely be accident. Yet another place in the area with a small menu and as we have said before, keep it small, keep it simple and prepare excellent food. Two of us had the walkers delight - soup, bread and salad followed by a drink and some fruit cake, the other member of the party had pizza. Beetroot and orange soup was a revelation, we'll be trying that at home, the brown scones were fabulous and salad with soup is another delight. Half of the pizza and most of the fruit cake was taken away for later, our appetites did not match the portions. The service was very good, we were made very welcome. The artwork on the walls was interesting and provoked much discussion too.

Thank you for your generous review. It was a pleasure to meet and talk with you, and remember to add the orange zest early in the cook and finish with the juice towards the end!
