We were out and about and wanting to find somewhere for lunch, and came across this little place entirely be accident. Yet another place in the area with a small menu and as we have said before, keep it small, keep it simple and prepare excellent food. Two of us had the walkers delight - soup, bread and salad followed by a drink and some fruit cake, the other member of the party had pizza. Beetroot and orange soup was a revelation, we'll be trying that at home, the brown scones were fabulous and salad with soup is another delight. Half of the pizza and most of the fruit cake was taken away for later, our appetites did not match the portions. The service was very good, we were made very welcome. The artwork on the walls was interesting and provoked much discussion too.

Thank you for your generous review. It was a pleasure to meet and talk with you, and remember to add the orange zest early in the cook and finish with the juice towards the end!

We drove past this tiny place several times going and coming from Ballyvaughn to the Burren and we kept saying that we have to stop there one day and eat. We are sure glad that we did! Excellent meal and friendly atmosphere! We would go back again and we would recommend it to others too.

This place is not easy to find. It´s not in a village or city and even it´s not in an important road. But it´s worth it!!!

First of all the place. it´s a wooden hut with a lot of flowers and plants.

The waiter is a kind and warm woman who shows you the menu and the out-of-menu dishes.

It was amazing for us because it is different. It is not the typical Irish place with 10 kinds of beers, Irish stew, etc...

They have great wines from Spain, France, Italy and South America.

They are also specialized in cheeses. We tried five different Irish cheeses. BTW, the smoked one was delicious!!

I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to enjoy a different Irish meal.
