Went for lunch on a day out,now given the current staff shortage across the country we found the one young lady very friendly and helpful, however her male colleague was abrupt and very short.
I ordered a chicken burger which came with a very small portion of chips which was nice but very small considering a 17.95 pricetag, my wife ordered Goats cheese and pear salad which consisted of two small pieces of cheese a very large amount of green leaves half a pear sliced with a pricetag of 14.95.
I ordered An Americano which dwarfed to and expresso when it arrived and plum ceumble which was again very small priced at 8.95.
Needless to say it was a disappointing experience, we won't be returning. Just thought we would share, if you are really hungry and need a substantial meal seek alternative house.

Had dinner here yesterday with a group of friends attending a classic car run. On entry to the restaurant you had to pay 25euro for dinner before even getting to see the menu. The food was ridiculously small with no sides. You would get more food in a happy meal from McDonald's. Toilets were also dirty, water all over the floor. Would not recommend this hotel for food.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Your group lunch menu at €25 included a choice of Prime Irish Hereford roast beef or Free Range Chicken Supreme with creamy mashed potato & roasted root vegetables or homemade Thai Vegetable Curry with Saffron Rice. Also included was a trio of homemade panna cotta, mini belgian chocolate cheesecake, chocolate marble cake & tea or coffee. The menu was agreed in advance with your organiser and displayed prominently at entrance where you would have paid for your lunch. We take great care in cleaning of our toilets at all times and they were checked throughout your lunch.

Stopped off today for dinner at this hotel today. I ordered a roast beef dinner. When the dinner arrived I was disappointed with the portion size. On the plate there was a small portion of beef with one scoop of mash. On the menu it stated that veg will be included, no veg was on the plate and I asked for some and they said they didn’t have any. €25 for this dinner is completely overpriced and underwhelming. I will not be returning.

Myself and my son were at the hotel today on a charity car run, as organised by the event we were to have dinner at the hotel. We were charged €25 euro each for a roast beef dinner, and a dessert, the dinner consisted of a tiny portion of beef with 1 scoop of mash and no veg, we asked for veg but recived none. The dessert was as disappointing, the size of a custard cream biscuit. An absolute rip off... we both left hungry along with many more would not recommend this hotel for food. Total disappointment.

The Hotel it self was lovely, the staff were all very helpful
And friendly. Unfortunately the food had a lot to be desired, it was way over priced a steak and a very small.portion of chips for €28.50 , we asked for veg
We were told there was none and it was to come with garlic butter there was none to be had .My.husband had to return his steak as over cooked for him and then they changed it for a steak that was practically raw.
The breakfast we asked for vegetarian and got meat sausages
I feel if there was some improvement on the menu
And care taken we would come back for a stay
But with things as they are we would not return
