My family and I spent two nights in late July in this original thatched roof cottage B&B. In addition to two bedrooms (the larger one under the thatched roof, the smaller one in a connected annex) and a bathroom, our accommodation featured a very nice and comfortable living room with a turf fireplace that we very much enjoyed thanks to the North-Western weather. The B&B is nicely located in a very peaceful setting. A GPS may be useful to find it quickly, but we were sent very detailed directions from the owners that should have sufficed even in the absence of a navigator. Paul & Samantha are very friendly and helpful hosts, and living side by side with their family is an added bonus. The Irish breakfast, mostly featuring local produce, was spectacular. Warmly recommended.

Super two-night stay, with lovely people. Always wanted to stay in a traditional cottage and this one has everything you could possibly need, from cosy peat fire to pretty garden setting. Very welcome courtesy tray, with home-made biscuits, plenty of hot water and even hot-water bottles, if required. Delicious local produce for breakfast, cooked and served by our host, Paul, in stunning modern kitchen. Plenty of local information for walks & touring. Hope we can return in the future fror a longer stay.

This is a really lovely place to stay, tucked away a little distance from Ardara. It's great to have two rooms and a kettle. Great breakfast, fantastic and helpful hosts. Will be recommending this to other people.

We stayed at the cottage for 2 nights and we so wish we had stayed MUCH longer. We were very sad to leave and we can say with 100% certainty that it was our favorite place we stayed during our 15 day trip. We arrived very late (around 11pm) and Paul was waiting up to greet us. He gave us great advice on things to see and do in the area and every one of his suggestions was worth it. Paul's breakfast is wonderful and the cookies in the house waiting for us upon arrival were so, so lovely. He even had the fire lit and ready for us when we returned from a long day of site-seeing.

We traveled with our two daughters (ages 12 and 10) and we were thrilled to have landed in this little slice of peacefulness. Our girls felt right at home with the homeowners children and hit it off, spending the time we were at the house outdoors running around playing together (and with the chicken!)

The sitting area is plenty big and is cozy as all get out. The bedrooms are just right with VERY comfortable beds; the larger of the two having a fireplace.

Adara town and the surrounding area is pretty special. We were so sad to leave the town, but mostly the hospitality of this cottage and the owners. It is our goal to return!!

We are generally not drawn to the small B&B experience, but the idea of staying in a thatched roof cottage appealed to us, and we're really glad we stayed here. Beautiful spot, beautiful part of Ireland! We stayed only one night, a family of 4 with 2 teenage daughters. We enjoyed having a comfortable sitting room to spread out in and thought the rustic/funky decor of the place was lovely. The larger bedroom is quite large with a comfortable bed, and is in the older, thatched roof part of the cottage. The smaller bedroom is down a hallway in the attached newer section of the house and would be perfect for one person but is a bit of a squeeze for 2. My daughters did not want to share the double bed so one slept on the provided cot (small for an adult sized teen, but she said she slept well). Bathroom is located next to the smaller bedroom and is fairly compact, but works great/looks great.

We thought Paul was a perfect host (did not get to meet Samantha). He is warm and friendly but knows how to give you your space, and he had excellent advice for our itinerary the next day. And top notch full Irish breakfast served in their gorgeous family kitchen!
