Definitely spent one of the best weekends of my life in Hotel Minella. This hotel really is next level. Family and friends travelled from far and wide couldn't get over how well run this hotel is. The food was fabulous, rooms immaculate and the atmosphere electric. 10/10 to John and Elizabeth. PK

Staff very welcoming, friendly & attentive. Food Excellent with great variety and choice. The desserts was the best my family has experienced in our travels throughout Ireland. It was my sister's 70th birthday and she was made feel very special. Hotel beautifully situated. Thanks to all.

We stayed for 2 nights in July. Charged more than originally quoted because of the previous budget hikes which is fine but thought we should have been notified as not all hotels passed on the charges. Room was not touched up after first night stay. Had to look for towels on second day from staff. Basic bar food, looked like packed sliced ham in toasted sandwiches. Younger staff a lot more friendly and obliging than older staff. The Receptionist didn't charge us room service because of our room not being touched up but really was this enough? Considering the room service of breakfast (which was cold when received) we got on the 1st morning was still in our room when checking to take your crockery. They seem to be under a lot of pressure to rush guests. To be fair the rooms were spotless when we arrived. I would not return or recommend. Totally overpriced in my opinion.

Back again to this beautiful hotel in spacious grounds just outside the town. Have been going to Clonmel for 20 years and would not consider staying in any of the other local hotels

For Clonmel Minella has the best food of any restaurant by miles - great standard again and again - the only downside is the bar area where it is served is a little tired - don’t be put off the quality and service are outstanding

The pool and gym complex are really good and the rooms large, modern, and spotless.

The new blueway cycle path is just across the river - Minella is perfect for a bike ride in either direction - interestingly the hotel has not capitalised on this ( yet ) so you need to bring your own bikes or hire them in Carrick.

Thank you Minella another fantastic relaxing stay

A very warm welcome from the minute we arrived. In a beautiful room with a balcony over looking the mountains. Great staff and a fabulous breakfast. Bar food always hits the right note, freshly cooked with a good choice.
Hotel grounds are spotless as is the hotel.
Many Thanks and see you again
