Great location, excellent friendly, helpful staff, lovely food & the sun shone as well eating & drinking on the balcony was spectacular - Ten out of ten!
Village market has a great vibe with comprehensive offerings & the boat trip to island is a must do - with a special hello from the seals!
We stayed for 2 nights, the staff were very helpful & pleasent, rooms were spacious & clean. The menu had enough choices plus they customised dishes for the vegetarian. We had a fantastic stay, planning another trip in a months time!!
The hotel was amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful thanks to Alexander and Rebecca so friendly. The food was excellent as well. everything was wonderful we will back again for sure. We hope in December
Stayed at the Glengarriff Park for a night in June. Clean hotel but very middle of the road standards wise.
The tv in the room only aired three channels one of which was tg4. The room itself was clean but extremely small and stuffy.
Pre breakfast we decided to bring down our luggage only to be hopped on almost immediately by the lady at reception who wanted us to pay immediately. I had been quite happy to pay the night we arrived only there was no reception staff behind the counter.
To top it off I felt the breakfast was quite stingy…..coffee or orange juice?Surely a person paying 170 for a night should get the option of both?. Extremely dull and limited breakfast options with floppy damp toast. Will spend my money more wisely next time. Hotel is centrally located but that’s about all I can give it.
Restaurant service is shocking. There was a significant delay in kitchen opening for the evening meal. We ended up waiting 2 hours to get our meals served. Waiters werent giving honest responses, and just kept asking if we wanted drinks while we wait. 2 hours later we complained, we told waiter we were going to cancel our order, only then we got our meals served. Manager didn't bother coming out to apologise. Food was nothing special, aperole spritz was barely drinkable. Bad experience overall.
