We went to Wineport Lodge on a Saturday afternoon to scope it out for an event. There were several tables free on the patio and we would like to have sat and have a drink. A very officious front desk man told us that we couldn't have a drink, we must eat as well!!
This place has Celtic Tiger notions of itself. We won't be back. We went to another hotel across the lake where we couldn't have been more welcome.
Amazing food, service and location. Upon arrival you are greeted by very pleasant staff and offered a glass of champagne. The rooms overlooking the lake are beautifully decorated. The food was exceptional. I would highly recommend the sea food platter.

Arrived today to celebrate our wedding anniversary. So far it's been just outstanding. Bubbles 🥂 on arrival, amazing bedroom with beautiful lake views, and outstanding customer service. Dinner tonight was absolutely delicious. Really looking forward to the spa tomorrow, and all the delights in store.

A fabulous time from the moment we arrived till the moment we left.
We were met by molly and brendan who were very welcoming and when I explained that I had booked the hot tubs at check in time they put my mind at ease and got us checked in earlier.
The hot tub was wonderful even though it was pouring rain. Rhian was our host there. Got us settled in with our glass of bubbly and put the stove on incase we were cold when we got out.
Bar staff were lovely too.
We had dinner in our room on the balcony overlooking the lake. We had the charcuterie board and some wings. Food was lovely.
Comfortable room and bed.
Had breakfast delivered the next morning. Fab
A wonderful relaxing time made all the better by the welcoming staff.

Fantastic place to moor up on the boat - dog friendly & really welcoming - amazing service and the food was so good- seafood sharing Plater was so filling - but still managed deserts - really a great place to celebrate special occasions - highly recommend- Amazing sunsets
