2 night stay here with my young adult children for a bike tour of Ireland. First time visiting Emerald Isle for all of us. Martina and her lovely daughter were perfect hosts and chef John's meals 5 stars. Rooms impeccably clean & comfy. Home baked shortbread cookies and espresso machines in rooms as an added bonus! Common areas inside the hotel and outside grounds welcoming & relaxing. Highly recommend this establishment. Hoping to return one day with my husband.More

Really clean and great food. We were really well looked after and enjoyed the atmosphere. Really handy location for Cliffs of Moher etc. Very personal experience as there are not loads of rooms. Loved that the room had a bath. Town itself is quite small.
Congratulations on your Award as The Good Hotel Guide 2022. During the summer we had a reservation for dinner and had a beautiful meal - the rack of lamb is fantastic. The level of service was top class and I have recommended it to many of my friends, without hesitation. Keep up the good work.
Hello. Yes, we are delighted that Sheedy's has been awarded The Good Hotel Guide Editor's Choice Award for Walking Breaks. This is the second time that we have received this special award. Receiving the award is special of course for Sheedys, but it also highlights the region of the Burren as a perfect location for a walking break.

We really enjoyed our stay in Sheedy's. The room was large and comfortable and we got a great welcome when we arrived.
There was a great choice for breakfast and the food at both breakfast and dinner was top class.
The hotel is in a great location for touring Clare and we would highly recommend it.

Alas, the famous matchmaking festival was not on, due to the Covid restrictions, though - being already married - probably just as well.
Hotel is comfortable and reasonable value (though nothing is cheap in the west of Ireland this year)
Gorgeous hotel with lovely rooms and atmosphere! We had a wonderful stay at Sheedy's this July. Our room was beautiful with an amazing large bathtub for a relaxing soak before dinner. Our meal was exquisite and expertly served. We had a marvelous garden view during our meals and from our room. It was a magical stay with friendly, helpful staff.
