Total rip-off. For €25 we were added to big group of school kids, went out for 15 mins and back at the pier after 35 mins. No communication at all, before nor after the trip. When we asked for an explanation we were told the trip was kept short due to safety reasons. The actual weather: a bit of drizzle, 10 knots of wind and a light swell?! For compensation we were offered another round… No thanks.

Hello Pieter Jann,

We cancelled ALL sailings and refunded ALL bookings on Sunday 17th September for safety and comfort due to the prevailing conditions and storm forecast. I have also searched our bookings for a reservation in your name and there is none for that day or any other day. One of our competitors did operate on Sunday 17th and I can only assume you travelled with them. It is also completely against our entire ethos to treat ANYBODY the way you report you were treated.

Is mise, le meas

Fantastic tour in a small boat. The views are amazing and there are lots of birds to see. The captain lent us binoculars so that we could see them better and provided us with very good explanations.
It started raining hard on the way back and the whole group was allowed to squeeze into the cabin, which added more value to the experience.
Strongly recommended!

We have a really great time with Shane during the tour. Explanations and stories about the Irland's Eye was so good to ear. Booking has been really easy to do (even for a group) and even with a last minute.

AMAZING! We showed up with our 1 and 3-year old on a rainy Saturday morning. It was the day before our last day there, so we weren’t able to reschedule and really wanted to go. We were worried the staff would be annoyed with us since the weather was so bad, but they could not have been nicer. The captain let me sit in the cabin with the kids, and gave us a blanket. My husband wanted to sit exterior, and he brought him a pillow to sit on so he didn’t have to sit on the wet bench. He pointed out puffins to us (which we were so excited to see) and gave us the history of the island. We had a great time!

A fantastic hour on the sea around Ireland’s Eye. Shane is a brilliant skipper & is knowledgeable about the history & geology of the area. We saw lots of birds including guillemots, cormorants and puffins & also seals. He has a really decent sound system on board & as we happened to be the only passengers he found & played a particular song for us. Highly recommended. Míle buíochas.
PS mornings intend to be quieter 😉
