hotel room was spacious and it was nice to have a pub down the stairs,I regretted not having enough time to enjoy the well equipped gym and the pool (though to use this you need a swim hat you can buy there).steam and sauna were very nice but overall the hotel is a little dated and breakfast felt quite mass produced

What an adorable hotel, well worth the stay just for the intricate woodwork and interior design and fittings. Had a great stay would liked to have stayed a little longer, great night in bar with a fellow kiwi. Great rooms with plenty of room and quiet. Nice meal. Good friendly staff. A must stay on your journey.

Friend recemended this place to me singing high praised she is very PISS OFF now as she was only here in February with family as...We were looked after very well by a lovely fella at reception he brought up all our really heavy luagage to our room and he asked if we needed anything to ring down found him very helpfull and friendly arrived on the Saturday 24th of June.........It went right down hill after that we went for dinner in the bar we were sitting at table for ages in the end we had to go up to the bar and ask them to come down we ordered steaks with trimmings when the food arrived we had no knives or forks my friend had to get them herself which too members of staff were standing around when we tasted the steaks they were cold we sent them back not once but twice the third time lucky it's was perfect and they had the cheek to ask for money we were having none of it......Breakfast area they told us that we could help ourselves to the hot food which we did it was very disappointing as once we pick up the plates they were stone cold everyone knows food would stay hotter a lot longer in even warm plates the toast was cold the coffee was none drinkable they were not very friendly in there...WE SHOULD GET OUR MONEY BACK WE WON'T BE RECOMMENDING TO ANY OF OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY

Beautiful reception area with friendly staff at check in. The room was huge, although dated. The leisure centre was hard to find but a nice asset to the hotel. We stayed in room 126, which we found out was directly above the bar, and there was awful country music blasting until 1 am. Had we known, we would have asked for a different room.

on arrival to hotel, we were checked in by Marcus who did so with efficient manner, we were told the wi-fi was down at the moment, they were fixing it and it did start working after a while. Got to our room and it is very sorry looking! Badly stained carpet, stained bed cover and the room in general is very "tired and rundown" . Not feeling the room we went down stairs to the bar !! Two other people there on a Friday night on a bank holiday week-end, No atmosphere, no back round music, Tv on and no volume? Had our drink and went back to the room. Next morning we go to the leisure centre! Oh dear it is again very tatty , tired need of a lot of attention , holes in wall by the showers , tatty hard towels, Overall the place is very run down and lacking in a good feel, i would have happily told reception on check out but she didn't ask me was everything ok! Got the feeling she was afraid to ask! It is safe to say will never be back. I did send a reply to the hotel when they asked for feed back, but didn't hear back!! €139 room only family room wasn't cheap.
