We ate out all over County Galway during our holiday but Maggie May's was the best of the lot. Friendly, welcoming staff, good beer and an excellent menu combine to make this a must visit venue if you are in the Loughrea area. Particularly recommended are the fish and chips and also the salmon.

Would definitely go back if we are in Galway again.

Good menu - we were a group of 9 and there was something for everyone. The seating area upstairs is much nicer - downstairs is a bar.

Arrived on a busy Sunday without any reservations but staff were very helpful and found us seats at the bar while we waited for a table. Food was excellent and portions were really large. We had roast beef which was served with mash and veg and the cold meat salad which was served with brown bread. Great portion size and staff were nice and friendly. Good price point for the portion size.

Average food that can be made at home. Pub grub, basic enough food. Nice refreshing drinks and deserts are a plus
