If I could give it more than 5 stars I would! AMAZING vacation! Claire from Luxury Irish Tours was unbelievably friendly, flexible, detail oriented, knowledgable and patient with planning this trip! We were a group of 10 (5 couples in our 50s) off to celebrate my 30th wedding anniversary. Having gone to an all inclusive beach vacation for our 25th, we all wanted to go to Ireland but, other than knowing about Guinness beer and the Cliffs of Moher we needed someone to help with the itinerary....HAPPILY, Claire was able to put together an amazing 10 day itinerary which suited all of our desires and expectations. Claire also matched us up with Des who would be our knowledgable, careful, fabulous and FUNNY driver while we were there. From the moment we met him until our hug goodbye, he kept us entertained and informed the entire time. All accommodations were centrally located and we were all able to stay one night in a castle too! AHHH..to be queen for a day as well. Some of the highlights were touring the House of Waterford Crystal where I bought a gorgeous crystal cross for my curio and a crystal shamrock for my Christmas tree, kissing the Blarney Stone, touring the Titanic Experience, having a private Jameson Whiskey tour and tasting, attending an authentic Irish Gaelic Roots dancing show, visiting Killarney, Dingle, Dromoland Castle and the Ring of Kerry. We visited a Falconry where falcons landed on our arms, we fed baby lambs, watched the border collies round up the sheep and even had the experience of making Irish bread and scones. We even had a tour and tasting at the Guinness Storehouse where we learned how Guinness was brewed. We were very active but never tired! Des was amazing at getting us from place to place on time and made sure we had plenty of food and drinks on the mini coach for us to enjoy along the way. Honestly, Claire's planning and Des' driving skills could not be better. I would recommend them to everyone!!!

Making Irish Soda Bread and scones with Kate (the baker) at her home was so nice. From the moment she opened her front door and handed the 10 of us the aprons, we knew we were going to have a great time. The Cliffs of Moher was breathtaking...you cannot capture that view on a photo...however, I am happy to have it memorized in my mind. Lastly, the driving times we spent in the mini coach with Des was definitely at the top of the list of memories I have. I do not think I have laughed so much in the longest time. The warm and friendly chemistry Des shared with the 10 of us was unbelievable. He is truly a people person and is the perfect person for the job.

What an amazing time we had! Castles, countryside, breathtaking cliffs, 5 star hotels! And Des was amazing! More like a friend than just a guide. He made the whole trip better!

This was an amazing trip all the way. Claire put together a great itinerary that managed to cover all the things Ireland has to see and do. She was very responsive before and during the trip, and was helpful and patient as we worked through any and all questions we had.

Des, our driver, also helped to make the trip as great as it was. He was so friendly, personable, and knowledgeable, and kept us all moving to where we needed to be - no easy feat for our group of 10! He knew so much about Ireland and was a fabulous guide to accompany us. Absolutely tops all the way!
