What a lovely place to stay and spend some time! My only regret is that we arrived late in the afternoon, and left soon after breakfast, so we were not able to enjoy the house and grounds as much as we had hoped. Brede was wonderful--fantastic host, and also gave us some recommendations for cities to stay in later in our trip. We had the room that you see on the main page--it sleeps three, although my daughter and I were only two. HUGE room, very comfortable and cozy bed, SO QUIET and peaceful at night. You really are out in the country with sheep and the river and beautiful lawns and flowers.
The breakfast was phenomenal--she had something for everyone, and it was the best Irish breakfast that I had on my trip! Be aware that you ARE sharing a bathroom--I don't know why, but I thought that we had an ensuite, but I was mistaken. There is a sink in the room, and there weren't any other guests staying the night that we were there, but just be aware if that's not your thing.
I hope that I can visit again, and I would stay at least two nights there to enjoy the peace!
