We took a day return trip to Cape Clear and booked our tickets on-line. When you book online you get 10% discount, which is nice.....The internet booking are called to board the ferry first so no need to stand in a queue. The Cailin Oir is a nice craft and the 45 minute trip was enjoyable. We had beautiful weather the day we travelled so I may be biased but the coastline is so beautiful and the crew pointed out various places of interest and the journey did not feel too long at all.Our return trip was on a smaller craft and again we relaxed and enjoyed the crossing. ( in fact almost got lulled to sleep) Overall a very efficient service with very pleasant staff.
