Description: Our Wood Burning Pizza Oven was lit in 1997 and has been churning out pizzas and tasty dinners ever since! The oven is kept at a temperature of 500-550F by burning oak and other hardwoods which are fed through the front by a long handled shovel. This ensures the maximum flavour and a crispiness for every pizza we make. It can hold up to 10 large pizzas at once and cooking time is between 7-10 minutes. Be sure to take a look at the oven and pizza making process using our own homemade dough and Brick Oven pizza sauce. Whatever the special occasion - birthday, anniversary, club dinner, office party- The Brick Oven and The Mariner will help make it a memorable one with delicious food, music and a full range of refreshments for children and adults.

I have eaten here a number of times and I it has always been an enjoyable experience. I was recently travelling to bantry and arriving late. They were kind enough to serve us at 9.30. I had a delicious monkfish and prawn gratin. Service was excellent and we werent rushed in any way even though it was late by the time we finished up. The specials board always has a fantastic selection and the sides are excellent.
There are a lot of nice restaurants in Bantry and The Brick Oven is up there with the best of them.

Busy restaurant for a Tuesday night in October glad we booked. We came as a family of 5 for the pizzas after the reviews we read and we were not disappointed. All pizzas were delicious. The house wine was really nice and well priced. There was a lot more on the menu than we thought would love to go back to try some more. They also do takeaway pizza which is very busy. But the exceptional think about this restaurant is the staff they were all so lovely and friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Will definitely be back.

This restaurant is part table service and part take away.
When we arrived there was a queue but the staff added tables upstairs in the function room to accommodate us all. The young man running the upstairs bar was very attentive.
The food was delicious.

Excellent restaurant, with good food, ambiance and service. They specialize in Piazzas, but we both had beautiful Monkfish
