Imagine our surprise that Dorothea was familiar with gluten-free living and even provided gluten-free bread every morning with breakfast and every evening with tea! Very friendly B&B with a very homey feel. It was lovely staying on a working dairy farm with plenty of farm animals! Of the three places we stayed in Ireland this was the best breakfast (traditional Irish) we had. I would recommend to anyone looking for a homey experience and especially coeliacs!!

Just back from 5 days at Hillview farmhouse, Killorglin, Co. Kerry with my 9 year old daughter.
What an experience she had. Helped Joe, the farmer, bring in the cows both morning and night. Led them to the milking parlour, and got dirty helping Joe with the milking.
She also helped feed their 6 Border Collie pups, who were 6 weeks old.
Joe and Dorothea made us most welcome. A full Irish breakfast every day kept us going until the evening. Every time we returned home we were welcomed with cups of tea and cakes.
The days out were excellent. Went to Dingle Bay, and managed to see Fungi, the wild Dolphin.Joe and Dorothea were a mine of information.
Will definately be back !!
