This is a lovely guest house. We stayed for three nights while touring the area on motorbikes. The great welcome which we received from Des and the unlimited local advice was greatly appreciated. The room was spacious and clean, we had fresh towels every day and the breakfast was brilliant. Attention to detail was exceptional. If we’re in the area again we would certainly come back. My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this charming guest house. The hosts Eileen and Desmond made us feel like visiting relatives their welcome was so genuine. The breakfast was absolutely second to none and the location is also ideal. We will definitely return when next in the area.

We had a lovely stay at the Ben View Guest House in Clifden. The hosts Desmond and Eileen were very friendly and accommodating for our last minute booking. And what a breakfast spread! Des was a wonderful host and made our family of five feel right at home! Great location - walking distance to great pubs and restaurants! Easy access to sites such as the Sky Road and Connemara National Park. We had plenty of breakfast options and the meat was delicious! Des was such a welcoming and friendly host! The two rooms we had were very comfortable. Wish our stay could have been longer!
