Small, simple site that gets the basics right. Clean, good level stands, mown grass, working showers, WIFI, friendly staff. Stopped here for 2 nights on the way south. Special thanks for setting up a TV in the campers kitchen so the kids could watch the World Cup!

It was early in the season, in fact only half the sites in Ireland were advertised as being open but we turned up unannounced & booked in to find the place was up, running, grass freshly mown & shower blocks clean :)
Adare is a lovely village / small town and this camp site is a good place to start - a tad out of town but either cycle or call a cab - it's not too expensive but well worth it.

We had a issue of locking ourselves out of our motor-home, the guy who runs the site notice us struggling so came over and he couldn't have been more helpful - top bloke :)

We visited this site for 2 nights just before Easter so it was just before the start of the season.

The facilties were immaculate and the showers are really warm exactly what you need on cold April mornings

The gent that was running the site noticed we were having trouble with one of our vans during our stay (keys locked inside doh!). He came and helped us and also recommend a caravan company locally that could "break in". Fortunately we didnt need to call anyone out because of his help..

        We would stop again

Another super campsite to rest up during our trip around Ireland. Handy for Adare town and taxi service is only a phone call away if you want a night out. Adare Manor Hotel looks wonderful but you can't get to it if you are not a guest which is a pity. There are plenty of good restaurants and pubs. Adare Camping's owner Hugh is a great host and his little donkey and pony will keep both adults and children entertained. Also there is a playground on site.

We stayed here for two nights on our way to the Ring of Kerry. Site is easily accessed by caravan or motor home. We have stayed here before and have always found it clean, well maintained and quiet. Convenient for visiting Limerick City, Bunratty Castle, Foynes Flying Boat Museum and is a good stopover on the way south. Adare is a lovely village with plenty of shops and is about 5 minutes drive away - not really within walking distance.

We travelled from Donegal and Camped around Ireland and we rated this as the number one site, everything was spotless and working - camping area with well cut grass and plenty of space between campers..... very friendly owners. would recommend this place to anybody. I think it was e19 for tent x 2 pax.
