“Wonderful, relaxing, special weekend”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 March 2012

A superb weekend was had in the wonderful Manor house and beautifully manicured grounds of Adare Manor. My first impression was at point of contact when upon booking the room, Linda at reservations, garnered important information from me re the weekend and then proceeded to make the stay a most relaxing, special and enjoyable one. My wife highly recommends the Lavender Rooms and the culinary delights of the Oakroom are to be experienced. PS if you sample the tasting menu make sure you are hungry!!!. A Sunday morning stroll around the grounds before heading back to reality finished the weekend perfectly.

this was the second time a group of us went to Adare. The first trip was excellent, this was better. the accomodation (townhouses) were clean and well maintained, the staff are excellent, the food is excellent and the golf course is one of the best parkland courses in the country. we would go back again. overall the weekend could not have been better.

Staff were fantastic throughout our stay. The deluxe room was large but lacking that wow factor. We were travelling with a young baby and 4year old and little extras helped make the stay - cookies and milk on the first night. Fridge in the room provided for our essentials and a special nappy bin also. Breakfast was great. Nice selection from buffet and hot breakfast cooked to order. Room service was ok , nothing special but nothing wrong with it either. The grounds are just lovely and many an hour or two can be spent exploring. The pool area is a bit small however, with a very small steam room and no jacuzzi. The pool doesn't have a shallow / deep end - the depth is the same 1.5m all over so not suitable for youngsters, but maybe that's a deterrent! Overall a lovely hotel.

Room Tip: A room overlooking the gardens is probably best

We stayed in a villa on the manor grounds. The service and attention to detail was delightful. The staff was more than helpful. They seem to have as their mantra, to "serve their guests in such a manner as to leave nothing undone." Impeccable service, friendly helpful staff, delicious food, and charming historical grounds. I would not hesitate staying on the property again. A per delight. Wonderful memories were created during our stay. Thanks to all the staff, especially Patrick. If you have an opportunity to meet Patrick during your stay, your visit will be enriched! And Jason, nice tour!

Room Tip: Stay in a villa for privacy and modern amenities. The villas are what we in the USA consider townhou...

The Manor House is beautiful and the village very charming. We booked through Sceptre Tours and got a great deal for a villa which was great for our family. Restaurant at Manor is wonderful and service was great. We had to move villas because the heat wasn't working and then the heat in the second villa was full out hot. We still had a great time! Carriage house restaurant is very good too. Highly recommend Wild Geese in village for elegant dinner and Sean Collins for a great pub.

Room Tip: Villas are perfect for families but not really walking distance to manor. If you want true old world...
