Adare Manor is a breathtaking place! The scenery is lovely, the manor is a perfectly preserved piece of history. From the tall windows, to the views of the river, to the exquisite food, Adare's atmosphere enveloped us in dream throughout our stay!

Room Tip: The room with a view of the river is amazing!

VERY clean, lovely, comfortable accommodations. We enjoyed the space the villa offered, not restricting you to just one room for relaxing. Location was well within driving distance for great day trips. We also enjoyed the privacy. Would be perfect for a family reunion, group celebration, etc. Would definitely stay again!

Details:
1. We had 2 bedrooms with queen beds, 1 bedroom with a king beds, 1 office with a pull out couch.
2. 1 sitting room, living room, dining room, and kitchen (all open to each other), and laundry room.
3. All bedrooms and office have bathrooms (yes, 4! 3 with showers and 1 with shower and tub).
4. Wired internet available in office and dining area. Bedroom internet connection didn't work for some reason.
5. Each bedroom and living room had flat-screen televisions, but no dvd player. Bring along your laptop and HDMI cable and you can watch some.
6. Bring your music! There was a radio/cd player in the living room.
7. Dishes, silverware, tea pot, and pots and pans were provided.
8. Dishwasher, full-size refrigerator/freezer, microwave (slow at heating things), and coffee pot were also provided (also slow, may have been operator error).
9. Upstairs linen closet had a safe.

Some things to keep in mind:
1. Soap only is provided. No shampoo, lotion, etc.
2. You may need to purchase a few supplies if you plan to clean laundry and dishes.
3. Breakfast purchased in advance in a vacation package (ours was through Scepter Tours) is not served at Adare Manor. They are at the cafe in the Heritage Center in town. It's a good 20-30 minute walk depending on how briskly you go, or it's a quick 5 minute drive. It was lovely and we were happy to have it!
4. "800" phone calls for the US will be charged as international calls. "800" calls within Ireland are charged for a 1 euro connection fee only. Yes, there is a difference.
5. The most reasonably priced groceries you can find are at Aldi. They have one in Limerick as well as other major nearby towns. Bring a 2-Euro coin for the cart deposit and bring your bags/containers (which applies for all grocery stores). Closer to home, Londis in Adare has what you need plus a wonderful bakery (a bit more expensive).

Would eagerly recommend to anyone that enjoys being on their own and doesn't need housekeeping services.

Room Tip: Villas with 2-twin bed rooms are available upon request.

The villas of Adare Manor were fantastic. We loved having a home base as we travelled around Ireland. I know it's trivial but the American outlets were a real bonus

I want to sincerely thank the staff of Adare Manor for making our engagement so special. From the minute we walked in we were warmly welcomed by Sarah. My now Fiance had been in contact with the staff the days leading up to our trip away and they ensured everything went so smoothly for him for his proposal! We were upgraded to a state room which made things even more special. I'd like to thank Johnny who dedicated a song to us in the Tack Room and Seamus who gave us a midnight tour of the Manor :-) The food was beautiful the ambiance welcoming and most of all the staff were so kind and friendly
Thank you for making our trip so special

Beautiful Manor and gardens . We stayed in the townhouses on the grounds ... 4 bedrooms , each with their own bathroom and televisions , full kitchen with granit countertops , family room with fireplace , sun room and outdoor patio with furniture . They were beautiful !!!
We booked through Sceptre Tours ... flights out of NYC to Shannon and 6 nights at the Manor townhouses and a rental car all for very little money ... approx . 700 dollars each including tax !
The town is about the cutest thing I have ever seen with lots of pubs with great food and drinks ... The people were all very nice as well ... I see what they mean about Irish hospitality !
