“Excellent B&B, would highly recommend"”
Reviewed 1 August 2011

We stayed a couple of nights at this B&B and i would highly recommend it. Deirdre and Noel were wonderful hosts and were very helpful and friendly (even going so far as to drop us into town for a night out so as to save us having to leave our car in town overnight). The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the breakfasts were the best we've ever experienced in a B&B. This is an excellent B&B!!

This was undeoubtedly the best B&B I have ever stayed in, in Ireland. The rooms were clean, well equipped and comfortable, the food was excellent with a choice of breakfasts including fresh fruit and berries. It was the hospitality however, that really makes this B&B something quiet extraordinary. Deirdre and Noel were simply wonderful warm hosts who engaged with all their guests telling us about their life and family.

This was a B&B which I couldnt recommend highly enough. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I do not normally write reviews on Tripadvisor, but I felt that I just had to commend Noel and Deirdre on their wonderful b&b and excellent hospitality. I picked Clenahoo House based on the reviews I read on Tripadvisor. I was not disappointed and infact it surpassed my expectations. I have no hesitation in saying that it is one of the best b&b's I have stayed in in Ireland. Deirdre and Noel could not do enough for us. On arrival, we had tea and an interesting chat with our hosts. We were then shown to our room, which was excellent. We stayed in Room No. 1. It has a large en suite and jazuzzi. We went into Carrick for dinner and were very kindly dropped in by our hosts. Breakfast the next morning was better than most 4/ 5 star hotels. From fresh berries to heated scones/ croissants and a wonderful full Irish breakfast, we were spoilt for choice. Thank you Deirdre and Noel for your wonderful hospitality. We enjoyed every minute of our stay with you. We hope to see you again soon.

Room Tip: If you want to spoil yourself, stay in Room 1.

We stayed 4 nights in July to meet up with relations locally and it was the best experience ever. Noel and Deirdre made us most welcome with tea and biscuits on arrival, fabulous room with ensuite bathroom and the best breakfasts I have ever eaten. Their knowledge of local attractions and history is excellent. Overall an experience not to be missed. We are so glad we did not opt for a hotel as none could have compared to Clenahoo House. We will definately be back. Thanks Noel and Deirdre for a fab holiday.

Room Tip: All rooms have fab views
