Gorgeous hotel on the water! Beautiful classic details and a fantastic restaurant and bar on site. The staff were very accommodating and check out is 12pm which is great. Short walk into the village. Gorgeous location, will certainly be back next time we are in Dublin.

We arrived for some lunch and have been here many times before, was very busy but that’s ok for a Easter Monday, we got sat down at a table for 4, then we ordered our drinks two waters and Guinness, then had a look at the menu, it was very good and as we had traveled up from the north we love the ham there so myself and mom ordered one sandwich with brown bread ham and cheese and I ordered sourdough with ham cheese and mustard, and two portions of chips, dad ordered fish and chips, then within 5 mins an order came to our table, it was burned fish and what looked like a toasted blt, I said to the waitress (Sarah I think her name was) about the sandwich and that the fish was burned she took it away and then had the longest wait for our actual food the fish came out again and it was still burned, the sandwich my mom got was on white bread and was stale and the sourdough my sandwich was on tasted like it had sat out all day the ham was lovely but the bread it’s self was stale to, and since Monday my dad hasn’t been well he has had Diarrhoea and a very bad upset stomach, this is not what we would expect from a 4 star hotel and as we have been here many times before

The people who work here make this amazing place work to every guest's advantage. Everyone is dedicated to each guest's needs and are professional. The location itself is lovely and within easy distance to the busy city of Dublin and yet you feel like you are in a quaint but bustling sea side town. Every amenity is available when walking a short distance to the town center, water views, easy travel to castles, which only compliment this very clean, well mannered lodging. The restaurants on site are more than satisfying but the town offers even more options. The hotel itself is incredibly well maintained, lovely décor, feels luxurious even though the prices are not. The hotel is an incredible value for what they offer. I traveled alone but saw families of all ages, corporate functions, reunions and business travelers all co-mingling well. Be aware that the amazing pool and workout area is just slightly off site and requires a tiny walk across an outside parking lot-it is not on site, per se but is well worth the journey. Clean, professional, location, beautiful atmosphere, and most importantly the people make this place a literal gem.
