“"The Best lunch value in town ,especially for Seniors/AOP's"”

O Dwyers Bar/ Restaurant in Portmarnock has the best value in all of Dublin for a carvery lunch ,especially if you are an AOP or Senior ( as in USA). For only six Euro you get a great selection of well cooked meats or fish ,lots of veg choices and nice sauces .This is comfort food at its best ,like grandma used to make for you . The staff are warm and friendly ,the service is excellent , there is a view of the beach and the seaside .As one who was born in Portmarnock 74 years ago and left when I was 9 I now make a point getting out to Dwyers for my lunch ,at least once a week . Go try it , you will not be disappointed

To be honest went here under duress with extended family. They were quick to arrange tables for us and kept the Carvery open. Food was tasty HUGE portions !! Would go for a small one next time. Live music good too. Not sure if Carvery is the only food they do would like to try it again.
Place needs a huge makeover has not changed in 20 years. A lick of bright paint, funky chair covers will make a big difference.

A friend and I have been for lunch in O'Dwyers Restaurant every Friday since shortly after the new Management took over and everry time we are treated like royalty, as is all their other customers. The food is absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and helpful and it is such a pleasure to dine there.
I have also arranged a Club event there and it was a tremendous success. Members of the Club are already looking forward to their next visit. This Restaurant is worth visiting and I congratulate them on an excellent service, lovely food and apleasant atmosphere,. Try it out, you'll love it !
