We stayed 3 nights in total, at either end of a 10 day trip. Initial impression was of a pretty tired hotel - very dated rooms that are more than ready for a refurb. The location is great, right on the beach, but the poor weather on both our visits meant we weren’t able to really appreciate that. On the plus side, the staff were really helpful, eg printing off a bus timetable and finding us change for bus fares into Dublin. Yes, you can get a bus almost outside, right into the centre of Dublin. Breakfast was really good.
