We only got to stay for one night at this b&b but it was lovely. We were the only guests staying in the house and had booked a family room, Helen showed us the both that were available and let us choose. The rooms are cosy, spacious and clean. We had family living nearby so we had plenty to occupy us and also took a drive around forest park, the playground and sky walk only opens on weekends at this time of year so it was just a drive through. i'm sure we will be back again in the summer.

we were all shattered so had an early night and a late awakening (a rarity with two small children). Even though we were the only guests in the house there was such an array laid out for breakfast, fresh and tinned fruit, muesli and yogurts, several choices of cereal for our little girl, cooked breakfast any number of ways, we settled on bacon and scrambled eggs, the eggs were more like a soft fluffy omelette but were delicious. A pot of coffee on the go for me to help myself was also a great addition. Helen made pancakes for our little girl who was delighted as pancake tuesday wasn't far from her memories.

It was a lovely nights stay, Helen is friendly and bubbly and from the area so would have great knowledge of local attractions. Our stay was for only one night but we will definitely be back again in the future.

Helen, the innkeeper, was very friendly, accommodating and helpful - a great hostess. Since it was raining, we decided to see if we could store our luggage while we went to Carrick on Shannon, even though it was well before check-in time Not only were we able to store the luggage, Helen gave us something to drink and a snack. She answered all our questions and gave us excellent directions to Strokestown , our destination the following day. The room was the largest and the breakfast the best of the b&bs we stayed in during our 16 days in Ireland. The breakfast room was nice with a lovely view of the gardens and the lounge had comfortable seating and a flat screen television. Definitely a superior b&b. Thank you Helen and Enda.

Spent three nights here while meeting up with family in Boyle. As previous reviewers have said, the welcome from Helen was second to none, and nothing too much trouble. Everywhere impeccably clean, light and airy. Breakfast included a great range of cereals, fresh and dried fruits and yoghourt, plus whatever you could imagine for a cooked breakfast. Subseqent breakfasts in other B&Bs suffered by comparison. It's easy to find, handy for Boyle and Carrick-on-Shannon and on the doorstep of Lough Key Forest Park, so no shortage of things o do and see.

We chose Forest Park House as a 2 night stop over on way to visit realtives in Co Mayo and it was an amazing place to stay. Nothing was too much trouble for Helen, even had her husband and daughter help my son set up his WiFi connection. The rooms were spacious, light and airy and the beds were so comfortable and the power shower was a great relief after the long drive from Dublin. Breakfasts were superb - lots of choice - and the best breakfast we had during our stay in Ireland. Helen was really helpful as well with suggestions for places to visit and with directions and we would certainly stay here again and stay longer next time.
