After an early hectic drive in stormy rains from the east, we arrived to this 4-star, 'oasis of chill', calm and opulence... a luxurious hotel without the brash, Dubai bling ...in Enniscone, Co. Sligo. Greeted by Annmarie and kind reception staff, I got checked in perfectly to the corner panorama vista room overlooking majestic and famed Enniscrone Golf Links course. Bedroom was like a mini suite with space for a few more besides! Decor is both functional yet tasteful and a super comfy couch, meeting table and off-bedroom clothing luggage storage, and yet another side table. A comfy sleep was awoken by becalming waves of the Atlantic followed by hearty or healthy breakfast options. This was my first time staying at the Diamond Coast Hotel and not my last. While Golf was our main attraction this trip, Enniscrone off season has lots to befriend and attract the visitor.. While I missed my Kilcullen authentic, hot seaweed baths this trip, Beach walks, good pubs, fresh air and amazing light. , I will be sure to return again very soon. Thanks for making us feel special and very welcome. I can see this being a big hit at Christmas, Wedding and Other Festive events. Congrats to all involved! See you soon.More
