“Cute little seaside village”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 October 2011

Cute little seaside village, with tons of opportunity for wonderful picture taking. Couple pubs and a fish and chip place. Centra for quick food, snacks and petrol. Wonderful beach. Friendly people. Would move here in a heartbeat!

“beach, golf, restaurants, shopping and more...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 August 2011

fantastic beach, suitable to body board and for sandcastles for the little ones. The seaweed baths are brilliant - really olde worlde with victorian tiles and roll top baths. You feel great after a seaweed bath - really relaxing. Enniscrone is also very convenient for Ballina in Co Mayo (nice little town for shopping) and to do the WB Yeats tour. Also great for golfers and there are some nice little restaurants, bars and cafes in the village, as well as a water park for the kids. Can't wait to go back!

“Great Family Holiday Destination!!!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 July 2011

We recently spent a weeks holidays in the village of enniscrone with our four children aged 9,8,2 and 8 months. Good accomadation and loads of room for us all and half the house that we brought with us!! Things to do pitch n putt which was lovely but the only drawback was you had to buy the balls and tees which added to cost. The playground is nice and lots to do for the smaller children but at 3 EUR per child its not worth it at all and beware no safety mats at the bottom of any of the slides and my 2 year old landed in a hole which wasn't good at all, take a 10 minute spin into Ballina and theres a fabulous park on the right as you drive in and its free. Highlight of the week for the husband and 2 older kids was the surfing. They took lessons with Shane from North West Surf School and he was extremely friendly and took great time teaching the kids so much so that they went back 3 times so give him a shot if you are there he's the one with the black van and well worth it!! Overall a great holiday
