This was the first time I had had dinner here - my meal was, once again, beautifully cooked and presented. I had sea bass with prawn and butter sauce. I just wish their winter opening hours included lunchtimes - sigh!

“Great food, excellent value”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 March 2012

Steak was excellent, I dont normally eat sirloin but it was really good, got tiger prawns on the side and it was a massive plate of food when it arrived. Wings for a starter, again excellent and cheesecake dessert. My girlfriend has fishcakes and a fish main which we very fresh and she would recommend both (although maybe not together unless you really like fish!) All fantastic and very reasonably priced. As it is part of the pub you can get pints which was very handy, wine was also very nice.

“A very busy restaurant”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 March 2012

Had booked a table here for a Saturday night but when we arrived our table was not ready and the staff did not seem to be expecting us! The restaurant was very busy and the staff all a bit hassled. We eventually got seated at a tall table which was on the small side and not very comfortable to eat at. The restaurant was very very warm which again made us quite uncomfortable.
The food was ok .... there was sand in my scallops!
I wouldn't be in hurry to revisit this restaurant.

I had a lovely meal here. I was visiting Enniscrone with friends for a wedding. This restaurant was recommended by our guest house. We had to wait on a table but it was certainty worth it. The atmosphere was very relaxing, the decor was beautiful and the food was great. The Lamb was cooked to perfection and I sampled a friend's pizza which was crispy and flavoursome. There was a a great variety to choose from on the menu. The house wine was divine and desserts went went down a treat. The staff were friendly and attentive.
