Visited this quaint restaurant just by chance visiting dingle on my vacation home frm Los Angeles recently. Was I pleasantly surprised as I climbed the narrow stairs to be greeted by the Russian born host wt a big warm smile I felt totally at home . Furthermore the restaurant serves both vegan and vegetarian dishes and as I ordered a delicious meal of home grown vegetables frm the back garden tasty home baked brown bread and a big bowl of spicy tomato soup perfect for me!
This gem this upper room experience was a special blessing, here time is the essence ! Something u seldom experience in most restaurants catering for the throngs . I had a delightful chat wt one of the owners on topical matters in the world today and what an experience that was. If you want to experience something different in dingle something of the deep ! Visit this beautiful oasis of tranquility n enjoy the ambience the hospitality of its hosts , the delicious food, the artwork and fiddles ! Go for it ☘

the food here was amazing and the welcome was good. There was live music ( although just a band practising.)

Had beautiful loose leaf tea, homemade scones and homemade jam. Everything so delicious. This is quirky, relaxing little café. Classical background music, and Paddy and Irina so friendly and welcoming. This is the perfect chill out café.

If the tea was anything to go by and the size of the poly tunnel where all the vegetables for the cafe is anything to go by...then it is a must!

Paddy and Irina's café is right above their little shop in the centre of Dingle. I came here for lunch and had excellent soup with wholemeal treacle bread, an aubergine curry and chocolate brownie. Their freshly made homemade treacle bread was soft and tantalisingly sweet from the treacle. The curry has just the right balance of heat and sweetness. the brownie was melt in the mouth heaven, perfect with a pot of loose leaf tea.

This is a rare whole food vegetarian café in Dingle and Paddy grows most of the food himself - you can even sit in his garden where he grows his veg and fruit in his greenhouse tunnel!
