We stayed here for one night, as part of a roadtrip around Ireland.
Unfortunately, the weather was terrible, and there had been torrential rain in the days leading up to our stay and whilst we were there. This meant that there were wet clothes, camping equipment, shoes etc lying all over the place drying, which led to the hostel looking quite untidy, cluttered and a bit damp smelling. Not the hostels fault - but not pleasant to experience either. It also meant that the common areas were crowded - as all the campers came inside for relief from the rain (the hostel offers camping accommodation as well).
The showers and toilets were not pleasant - the doors were only 'half doors', so you could hear everything and it wasn't very private. The showers smelled and appeared to be unclean - I wouldn't have used the showers without wearing flipflops!
In saying that - the room we stayed in was fine - although it was very small, it was bright, airy and clean.
The location of the hostel isn't ideal - its quite a walk and its just outside Dingle. There also seems to be conflicting information on how far it actually is - some reviews/information we read told us it was a 5-10 minute walk, whilst others have reported its closer to 30 minutes. On a nice day, it would be a lovely walk - but in torrential rain, at 3am, its a pretty depressing trudge back (especially as there is no street lighting once you pass the roundabout out of Dingle).
Overall - we wouldn't stay there again. The shower and toilet facilities were not clean enough (although possibly the weather didn't help), and we would have preferred to be more centrally located.
