Very basic unpretentious surroundings. Service absolutely the best. A caraffe of cold water was brought along as we were shown to the table. Orders were taken without delay and service was prompt bringing a suspicion that there would be early pressure for our table. No such pressure arose, quite the opposite in fact.
My Gambas to start was as good as I have had in many countries. Delicious. The Turbot was excellent. A truely generous portion for a hungry lad.
My partner's starter of crab meat and brie was a revelation. Wonderful and the cod Mains excellently cooked.
Highly recommended and worth booking in advance in high season.
I hate to comment on price when the fare was so good, but it is also up there would many of the higher overhead restaurants in the country. Hence the reason for the reduced rating.

Encouraged by trip advisor (and a local man's) reviews, I made several attempts to reserve a table. We were on the waiting list over night and by the following evening, hope was fading fast. Just as we were abt to give up, a bench outside freed up and our opportunity arrived. The setting outside was average and the service was reasonable ... olives and bread were served before the meal. The much anticipated food (that we'd saved our appetite for) arrived. The portions were on the stingy side and the flavours were nothing to rave about. They certainly didn't match the prices. A disappointing anti climax ...

We found this place as suggested by Lonely Planet! After 2 weeks in Ireland this is so far our best dinner experience ! Superb fresh fish cooked at best with respect of raw materials. Top service and an amazing backed lemon tart to close! What a dinner!! Give this place a try if you are in Dingle!

Great ambiance, great service, great seafood! The seafood is so fresh and delicious. We ordered the mussels, grilled monkfish kabobs and pan fried plaice fish. Amazing!
