Brian, owner the Castlewood House B&B, recommended this restaurant to us. It was wonderful. Great 'fresh' food - and as their sign says NO CHIPS! Would love to return someday!

The food was great, the wine was good and the service was special. It is a place we would recommend to anyone traveling to the area. The seafood was as fresh as it can get.

More of a French influence than Irish but the blend of local fish with the chefs magic made our meal memorable

We went to Ireland knowing we would have the chance to get some excellent seafood. Bt upon going to Out of the Blue in Dingle we where floored with the quality. My wife saw some ladies at a table across from us get their food and was amazed with how it looked, so she ordered what they had. I decided to wing it and try a group of seafood items I had never had before. When our food arrived the presentation was lovely, it almost looked too good to eat and the portions are not small, our plates where actually platters. Then comes the true test, the taste. After taking our first bites it was like we left Ireland and where transported to heaven. The fish of course was super fresh as where the rest of the ingredients. The preparation was perfect and not over cooked or under cooked,, just spot on. All the sauces and sides did not cover the taste of the fish instead it enhanced it.

Their menu changes daily based on what comes out of the sea, so you could go back and try something new each time. But because it is all catch of the day some items on the menu may run out if you go later in the evening. You may also need to call ahead to get your name on the list, it is a small little restaurant so the tables get full fast.
