Stopped off for a quick lunch at the Lansdowne. Great welcome and given menus

I had the seafood chowder which I can highly recommend. My husband had the curry which he also enjoyed along with some Guinness.

Good varied menu reasonably priced

Looking forward to going back before we lesve

Incredible dirty room. frozen. the broken window. noted at the reception, in response they intervened by placing towels around the opening from where it continued to come out a terrible wind. between smiles and fake I'm sorry no solution or refund for having spent a night in the cold paying full price. They offered the breakfast free but is not enough to repair at the horrible night in a ‘freezer’. WiFi doesn’t work in the room and in the all too....

The rooms in this hotel are ok and the location is good as you are on the Main Street and close to restaurants and shops. There is no a/c or fans so you have to leave your windows open and it was very noisy all night. Really, it didn’t quiet down until around 3:00 in the morning after we listened to a drunken rendition of “For he’s a jolly good fellow”- which we would have enjoyed had it not been 3:00 a.m.

Kenmare is one of my favorite places in the world and Lansdowne Arms is the place to stay. Ideally situated, cozy and elegant all at once with great breakfasts and music sessions in the evenings. Stayed here twice and can’t wait to come back!

Kenmare is an historical town with lots of crafts shops etc to wander around. The location of the Lansdowne Arms Hotel is in easy walking distance of the many shops, cafes and restaurants. We were welcomed at the hotel by warm and friendly staff. Our room has everything we could have hoped for to ensure we have a comfortable two night stay. There is also secure parking at the hotel which is imperative to us Harley riders.
